Dean Carey has dedicated his life to refining the most practical techniques to unlock the potential of performance, artists, teachers and directors.

His vast experience has taken him across Australia and around the world teaching in dozens of elite acting schools and training facilities. In 1987, at the age of 27, he founded Actors Centre Australia (ACA), one of Australia’s most prestigious training schools. He remains its Head of Theatre.

There is no “Dean Carey Method.” His teaching approach is a crystallisation of his vast experience acting, writing, directing and teaching. It is founded on the principles of high challenge, high support and creating high performance.
